My name is Laura Rochelle Ragin. I am a certified life coach.

I share my story for three reasons:

1) so you can get to know me better,

2) you may find that we have similar life experiences, and

3) if I can change my life, so can you.

I was in a high-stress administrative finance position in a billion-dollar organization. I had no boundaries in my life. My work-life balance was non-existent. I was working hard, but I had lost joy in my work.

Still, I continued to work around the clock. I was a single mom of four and the only daughter of an aging parent in another state.

Instead of letting up, I doubled down on my designated career path. I made time for everyone but me. I dragged myself out of bed every morning. I was emotionally and physically drained.

Are you feeling emotionally and physically drained too?

Then one day, I had an awful pain in my leg. I called my oldest daughter, a physician, and she insisted I call my primary doctor immediately. I reluctantly made the call.

The diagnosis was a superficial blood clot in my right leg. I had not been taking care of myself physically because I was an emotional and mental wreck.

I was everything to everyone but was making no time for me.

I hit the trifecta. I was burned out mentally, emotionally, and physically.

I neglected myself, and...

It was not pretty.

 Can you relate?

Now, in reality—I was not the best mom, daughter, or employee, just the opposite of my intent. I was running on empty all of the time.

I was no longer my authentic self.

This is the moment my work really began. I knew change had to start with me. If I could not provide self-love, how could I possibly be giving love and kindness to others?

I had lost a part of me.

Do you feel like you have lost your true self?

I began the process of self-nurturing in my life.

Today, I am still not perfect, but I have grown into a much better place. I am more authentically me. I am a much better mom, daughter, and partner.

And as far as my work-life balance goes, I found my true calling in helping others become more authentically themselves. So, I became a certified life coach and a self-nurturing mentor.

If you’re at the point, I was. And you’re ready to learn how to nurture the best you, not only for yourself but for those around you...

Start your path to a fulfilling life today.

“This was my first coaching experience, and it worked well with my personality and needs. I am very self-aware, and I feel that Laura's coaching style made it easier to be focused on my specific needs and goals. I felt Laura was able to help me progress in a way that was conducive to my growth potential and style. During our sessions, Laura and I worked a lot on minimizing my fears and self-sabotaging thoughts, and this greatly improved my anxiety. Over time I was able to build and develop new coping skills that allowed me to face my fears, voice my needs, and get more out of my personal, romantic, and professional relationships.”

“Laura Rochelle guided our entire team through a wellness workshop at a time when the majority of us were languishing, exhausted, and stressed. Her personal story immediately put everyone at ease; we could all relate to a piece or part of her journey.

Through the course of the workshop, we discussed the importance of self-care, identified the neglected areas of our lives, and came to realize balance looks a little different for everyone. Despite these differences, Laura offered practical, attainable solutions. It was an enriching experience for everyone, and we all walked away with micro steps to help us flourish and thrive.”

Are you ready to take a different path of self-nurturing? The word nurture means to care and encourage the growth or development of; cherish. Remember, self-nurturing is not selfish.
